XCMG Europe｜XCMG and German Sister Cities Build a Bridge of Culture and Intelligent Manufacturing

From September 10 to 12, Mayor Andreas Horn of Erfurt, Germany, led a delegation comprising government officials and representatives from the economic and educational sectors on a visit to XCMG. The delegation marked the 20th anniversary of the sister-city relationship between the Erfurt and Xuzhou through in-depth discussions on green intelligent manufacturing and collaborative talent development. Zhen Wenqing, Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of the Labor Union of XCMG Group, and Liu Jiansen, Vice President of XCMG Machinery, participated in the activities.

During the visit, XCMG and the Erfurt Training Center jointly unveiled the “Sino-German Dual Vocational Education Cooperation Center.” This milestone represents not only a significant institutional collaboration but also the integration of two distinct educational philosophies.

Since 2011, XCMG's collaboration with Germany has expanded from technology to education, yielding remarkable results: nearly 200 “Blue Ocean Elite” trainees certified by Germany's IHK have been snapped up by companies even before graduation. Many have already embarked on overseas assignments, becoming the fresh force in XCMG's global service network and true “ambassadors of craftsmanship” for Sino-German friendship.

From the banks of the Rhine to the ancient city of Xuzhou, XCMG's collaboration with Germany has long evolved from “one-way export” to “mutual engagement.” Moving forward, XCMG will continue expanding its global network, enabling Chinese smart manufacturing to shine on the world stage.
