Since establishing diplomatic ties in 1963, China and Kenya have strengthened their partnership, advancing cooperation under the Belt and Road spirit.

At the groundbreaking of Kenya’s first green fertilizer plant and geothermal power station in Nakuru County, President William Ruto personally tested an XCMG excavator, praising its precision and efficiency.

XCMG’s machinery, including cranes, excavators, road, and concrete equipment, has played a key role in major projects from the Standard Gauge Railway and Nairobi Expressway to the Thwake and Mwaura dams. With over 3,000 units deployed and a strong local service network, XCMG continues to support Kenya’s modernization with efficient electrified products and smart, sustainable solutions, driving the country toward a low-carbon future.
