Recently, XCMG held the “Green Mountain” new energy equipment test drive event in Europe. The event, themed “Green Manufacturing, Win-Win Future,” showcased the outstanding performance of XCMG’s latest generation of new energy equipment. The event featured a wide range of equipment, including electric excavators, loaders, aerial platforms, cranes, and forklifts, all lined up to attract the attention of customers.
The four electric excavators on display—XE19EV, XE27EV, XE215EV, and XE270EV—covered the full spectrum from small to large models. During the test drive, customers praised the electric excavators for their powerful performance, quick response, precise control, and excellent comfort. A well-known construction machinery blogger from Germany with 500,000 followers expressed excitement after a two-hour test drive: "The XE270EV is an outstanding machine, fully capable of handling heavy-duty conditions at construction sites. XCMG’s product quality is impressive and on par with any international brand. I’m very curious about Chinese culture and XCMG, and I hope to visit the headquarters in China to learn more about this innovative brand."
The loader section also attracted a lot of attention, with the displayed models available for test drives throughout the event. The XC988EV, XCMG’s first large electric loader delivered in Europe, became the focal point of the event, thanks to its stable operation and quick response enabled by the no-gearbox, triple-motor design. After the test drive, a German customer said: "This machine is far more responsive than its diesel counterparts, representing the third generation of XCMG’s electric products."
During the event, there was a flurry of orders, with more than 20 units signed on-site, along with numerous intent orders. German and Swedish distributors signed procurement contracts for large loaders, demonstrating their strong trust in XCMG’s electric products. XCMG’s aerial work platform products were also highly favored by customers. The brand-new XT2506E electric telescopic boom forklift, featuring a high-pressure system and an optional 70kWh large battery, performed excellently in terms of working time and charging speed. A German rental company said, “We’ve been looking forward to this equipment for a long time. It’s compact, supports independent steering of front and rear wheels, and is perfect for working in confined spaces. We are very excited to introduce it to our fleet.”
The mobile energy storage equipment project became another highlight of the event. To address the issue of insufficient grid coverage in some parts of Europe, the mobile energy storage units provide stable and efficient green energy support for electric equipment, holding promising market prospects.
“Green Mountain” empowered customers with brand-building activities, creating multi-dimensional interactive scenarios to co-create green value. Technical training focused on servicing electric products, combining hands-on experience with theoretical knowledge to provide comprehensive technical support. Financial seminars explained financial policies in an accessible way, receiving widespread praise from customers.
