Recently, the “Brasil Produtivo” event, themed “Productivity, Innovation & Cooperation,” was held in São Paulo, Brazil, attracting over 100 guests from government agencies, industry associations, dealers, media, and clients. The event focused on discussing the high-quality development and sustainable growth paths for Brazil’s construction machinery industry.

In his speech, São Paulo Governor Tarcísio de Freitas highly praised XCMG Group’s significant contributions to local economic development, attracting investment, and promoting modernization. He stated, “Our mission is to create demand. We are eliminating obstacles and driving digitalization to improve the business environment.”

Mato Grosso Governor Mauro Mendes also acknowledged XCMG’s impressive achievements in Brazil, emphasizing that the company’s success not only showcases its strength but also plays a vital role in advancing China-Brazil relations.

Yang Dongsheng, Chairman of XCMG Group and XCMG Machinery, attended the event and delivered a keynote address. He reflected on XCMG’s three decades of development in Brazil: from “going global” to “localizing operations” and finally “building a rooted brand.” This journey marked a major leap from product exports to local manufacturing and establishing a solid brand presence.

Yang reaffirmed XCMG’s ongoing commitment to increasing investment in Brazil, upgrading local R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and financial systems. He stressed the company’s goal to build a stronghold in South America and establish itself as a century-old exemplary enterprise, providing high-quality products and comprehensive services to contribute to Brazil’s economic development and improvement in people's livelihoods.

Looking to the future, XCMG will continue to uphold its strategic transformation toward “high-end, intelligent, green, global, and service-oriented” development. The company will deepen its localization strategy in South America, driving industrial upgrades through innovation and advancing regional development through cooperation. By fostering mutual trust and win-win partnerships with global stakeholders, XCMG aims to contribute the strength of “Made in China” to a more efficient, prosperous, and sustainable South American construction machinery industry.
