XCMG Named Among China’s First “Pioneer-Level Smart Factories,” Releases Joint Initiative at the 2025 World Intelligent Manufacturing Conference

NANJING, China, Nov. 27, 2025 — XCMG today announced its selection as one of China’s first Pioneer-Level Smart Factories, the highest designation under the country’s Smart Factory Gradient Cultivation Initiative. The recognition was unveiled at the 2025 World Intelligent Manufacturing Conference, where only 15 companies nationwide were included.

 At the conference’s opening ceremony, Yang Dongsheng, Chairman of XCMG Group and XCMG Machinery, joined representatives of all selected enterprises to release the Joint Initiative of the “Pioneer Action Plan,” calling for deeper cooperation and accelerated intelligent manufacturing development.

XCMG received the honor for its Global Customized Agile Delivery Smart Factory for Mobile Cranes, which was simultaneously named one of the Top 10 Scientific and Technological Advances in World Intelligent Manufacturing 2025. In interviews with Xinhua News Agency and Phoenix TV, Yang emphasized that XCMG’s progress is driven by its “Intelligent Transformation, Digitalization, and Industrial Internet” strategy. The company has developed its proprietary “XCMG Intelligent Manufacturing · Seven-Star Navigation” model, enabling innovation across R&D, agile production, smart operations, and digital twin factory construction.
