XCMG has officially launched its first overseas new energy manufacturing base in Indonesia, strengthening its global presence in green and intelligent construction machinery. The facility integrates localized manufacturing, R&D and service capabilities, providing new energy equipment solutions for Indonesia’s mining, infrastructure and industrial sectors.

The launch marks a significant milestone in XCMG’s global green development strategy and represents a major step in advancing its transformation toward high-end, intelligent, green, global and service-oriented development. By integrating global operations with green industrial development, XCMG is accelerating the deployment of sustainable solutions across international markets.

Located within IWIP, one of Indonesia’s key industrial hubs, the new energy manufacturing base integrates equipment production, localized research and development, and comprehensive service capabilities. The facility is designed to better respond to local operating conditions and customer needs, significantly improving delivery efficiency while supporting applications in Indonesia’s mining, infrastructure construction and industrial park logistics sectors.

Leveraging advanced smart manufacturing technologies and localized production capabilities, the Base will facilitate the large-scale deployment of electric construction machinery in Indonesia, contributing to the low-carbon transformation of industries such as mining and infrastructure. At the same time, XCMG is establishing a circular ecosystem covering used equipment management and parts remanufacturing to enhance resource utilization efficiency and promote sustainable development.

The delivery of the first batch of new energy equipment highlights the innovative cooperation model between XCMG and IWIP, combining advanced technology with real-world application scenarios, and manufacturing capabilities with market demand. Through close collaboration, the two sides have rapidly advanced the construction and operation of the facility, creating a new model for international cooperation among Chinese enterprises.

With more than 30 years of development in Indonesia, XCMG has established a comprehensive localized operation system covering sales, service, spare parts and customer support. The company now operates an extensive network of sales and service outlets, supported by more than 100 specialized service vehicles and a three-level spare parts and maintenance system, ensuring reliable operation of over 30,000 units of XCMG equipment across the country.

The commissioning of the new energy manufacturing base further strengthens XCMG’s integrated industrial chain in Indonesia, covering research and development, manufacturing, supply, sales and service. Locally produced new energy equipment is expected to become an important driving force for Indonesia’s green infrastructure development and industrial transformation.

As part of its commitment to local development, XCMG continues to create employment opportunities and cultivate skilled talent in Indonesia. Local employees currently account for nearly 80% of XCMG’s workforce in the country. In 2026, XCMG Machinery was once again recognized on the Fortune China ESG Impact List, remaining the only construction machinery company included, demonstrating its continued commitment to sustainable and responsible growth.
