Hillhead 2026, the 42nd iteration of the world’s flagship exhibition dedicated to quarrying and mining equipment, officially opened its doors in the United Kingdom from June 23 to 25 local time.

Regarded as one of the world’s most authoritative expos for construction machinery, the three-day event brought together more than 600 global exhibitors and attracted upwards of 10,000 professional industry delegates. XCMG delivered a high-profile display featuring 15 machinery models spanning four core product segments, including road and earthmoving equipment, presenting its comprehensive integrated equipment solutions amid fierce competition from top-tier global machinery manufacturers.
A key differentiator that sets Hillhead apart from conventional indoor trade fairs is its live on-site operational demonstrations, offering attendees immersive visibility into how XCMG’s complete solution portfolio performs under genuine quarry site working conditions.

Against the backdrop of stringent real-world operational scenarios, XCMG rolled out customised integrated solutions covering a wide spectrum of application scenarios such as quarry exploitation, infrastructure development and municipal works:The XT4014KH15 telehandler made its maiden appearance at a UK exhibition. Paired with the XE300E excavator and XC998E wheel loader, the trio forms a high-productivity construction set-up with outstanding power performance.Within the live mining demonstration area, the XE300E mining excavator and XC998E wheel loader performed coordinated operations. Delivering robust power output and precise hydraulic actuation, the two machines constitute an optimised equipment combination for mining operations.
Each piece of equipment is developed to tackle persistent operational challenges prevalent across European markets — insufficient equipment utilisation and elevated total operational costs. As competition within the sector evolves from single-unit machinery rivalry to a contest of systematic integrated solutions, XCMG brings to the table not only high-quality “Made in China” machinery products, but also all-scenario systematic problem-solving expertise.

During the expo, XCMG inked procurement and after-sales service agreements with a number of its UK strategic partners. Such profound mutual trust has been cultivated through years of consistent market engagement.
Operating in Europe, Serving Europe. XCMG has advanced from simple product exportation to deep localised deployment of integrated solutions, underpinned by its continuously refined localised operation framework. A full-lifecycle support ecosystem covering spare parts provision, on-site technical backing and comprehensive after-sales services has been fully established, laying a solid foundation for XCMG’s integrated solutions to gain lasting traction in high-end global markets.
